Guangdong University of Technology
Guangdong University of Technology is a key university of Guangdong Province with a history of over 50 years. It is a multi-disciplinary university offering a wide range of courses in engineering, science and technology, business management, liberal arts and law, with major emphasis on the study of engineering. Guangdong University of Technology is privileged to confer Bachelor's, Master's and Doctor's degrees on students.
The University is located in the downtown of Guangzhou, the famous city in south China. It has several campuses with an area of more than 2.23 square kilometers and a schoolhouse cover area of over 1.62 square kilometers. The main campus is located at No. 100 Waihuan Xi Road, Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center. There are more than 2000 full-time teachers in the University. At present, full-time student population is over 39, 000. The University also enrolls different levels of continuing education students and international students.
The University boasts 19 faculties and schools, offering 57 bachelor's programs, 11 first-grade master's and doctoral programs, 10 doctoral programs, 52 master's programs (including MBA program), 14 engineering master degree programs, and 2 stations for post-doctoral research.
The University has set up 15 provincial key disciplines, 2 provincial key labs, 10 key labs designated by Guangdong Department of Education, 26 provincial key courses, 13 provincial name-brand specialties, 1 national and 11 provincial excellent courses, and 1 national and 9 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers. The University has also established research institutes and centers of various fields. The equipment and devices for teaching and research is valued at over 316 million RMB. The University library has a collection of over 4.33 million volumes and over 1.49 million electronic journals and books.

For years the University has undertaken a large number of key research projects from the state, province and the local government as well as international joint research projects, and has obtained a series of important achievements. The University has also established a batch of joint labs, joint R & D centers and institutes with renowned companies or universities at home and abroad.
